Utopia Books & Coffee

Utopia Books & Coffee is a charming coffee shop in Dumaguete with a serene and calming atmosphere, making it ideal for reading, working, or simply relaxing. What sets this place apart is its combination of a coffee shop and bookstore, offering a wide selection of books for purchase as well as a few available for customers to enjoy while at the store. The space is thoughtfully designed, with two air-conditioned floors and tables that are perfect for working or studying. We ordered the Tiramisu Coffee, which was enjoyable, and the Banana Nutella Croffle, which was absolutely fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and a delightful treat. With its great ambiance, delicious offerings, and unique bookstore charm, we’ll definitely be back!

nice venue for book lovers. although only few books are for free reading and mostly are for sale. they have also cute trinkets available for sale. owners serve as attendants too.

The food is great - I especially enjoyed their croffles. The coffee is good enough for a caffeine fix, but if you like your coffee on the sweeter side, this might not be your go-to. They've got a decent book selection, mostly fiction novels. The books are priced similarly to what you get from other book stores. They have few discounted books ranging from 5-20%. This cafe is suitable for a quick break but not for long-reading hours as it is not cozy enough (seating). Though they have a small loft area which I haven't cheked yet.

a book store with lots of YA novels. only few tables for their cafe. the area above could use more cooling pd kay mej alimuot. selection of desserts and drinks was alright altho watery ang matcha that i ordered but affordable ra mn pud. there is also ample parking space since adjacent stores are not open yet. overall, it’s a nice place for youngsters to hangout and reduce their screen time

There are a lot of books for self-growth, classic love stories, adventure and even manga vols to choose from. Price range from 300-700 php. (only what I've seen) Bookmarks are 15php which are super cute. Staffs are kind and I like how homy I felt when I visited. There are tables to share, place is not quite spacious but manageable. You can also borrow unsealed books to read while staying (counter area).
